Together, EY and HPCS have taken measures to ensure the security of the digital system.

The security of transactions is a top priority for HPCS.

The minimum required information is exchanged in order to carry out each transaction. Access to this information is protected through a series of technical security measures, such as the use of one-time passwords, encrypted communication channels, dissemination of information only to involved parties and identity-based access. Each user is only aware of the information sent to them by the previous user, as is the next user to whom they, in turn, decide to send the information whenever they so choose.

Therefore, the information being transmitted is only disclosed on a need-to-know basis, thus protecting the confidentiality of this information.

The platform fully complies with the provisions of Greek and European legislation on personal data. Both the infrastructure and operation of the platform are subject to thorough audits by external auditors on an annual basis.

Finally, HPCS is supported by an expert team of engineers, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, using state-of-the-art tools to monitor security and ensure the smooth operation of the platform.
